Course Overview Highlights
This comprehensive 2-day course is a presentation of minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques for spinal surgery. Experts on the subject will present the anatomical and technical aspects of this procedure along with risks, benefits and outcomes.
The course features interactive lecture sessions, fresh anatomical specimen dissection (including cadaveric skills stations, anatomical models, and state-of-the-art endoscopic equipment), training videos, and case presentations. Participants will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge regarding endoscopic surgery of the cranial base and pituitary fossa using minimally invasive techniques.
This course is sponsored by the Department of Neurological Surgery, All India Institute of Medical Sciences for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences.
Educational Objectives
This workshop has been designed to provide the neurosurgeons with the opportunity to enhance their own skills in a variety of minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches to spine. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Incorporate various minimally invasive techniques into their approach for cervical and lumbar spine surgery.
Identify the indications, results and potential complications for these procedures.
Who Should Attend
This advanced course is designed for neurosurgeons, orthopedicians and spine surgeons who are interested in the most recent developments in minimally invasive surgery of spine
