COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is the 6th cadaveric airway workshop by a panel of expert that will utilize real cadavers to teach airway skills. Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn practical, effective skill and strategies for performing adult intubation. Hands-on experience will increase participant’s confidence and this will promote patient safety.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All the medical practitioners who are interested in basic and advanced airway management and skill development.
PROGRAM
09:00-09:20 AM: Course introduction, Faculty and participant introduction
09:20-09:30 AM: Pre Test
09:30-11:30 AM: Lectures (15min each) + Tea break
- BASIC SKILL – DIRECT LARYNGOSCOPY
- VIDEO – LARYNGOSCOPY
- LMA & SUPRAGLOTTIC AIRWAYS
- FIBEROPTIC INTUBATION
- PERCUTANEUS TRACHEOSTOMY
- DOUBLE LUMEN TUBE
- ULTRASOUND as an aid to AIRWAY
11:30-01:00 PM: Exercises & Demonstrations by Faculty (15 min each)
01:00-02:00 PM: Lunch
02:00-04:00 PM: Hands on by participants on all Exercises
04:00-04:30 PM: Post Test & Closing remarks and feedback from participants
